1955 ~ 2021

Carmela Mendez, 65, was born on September 16, 1955 in Mission, Texas and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 18, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Deer Park, Texas.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco & Magdalena Mendez; also by her son, Pedro "Pete" Antonio Escamilla.  Carmela leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her loving sons, Miguel Escamilla & wife Rosa and Juan Antonio Escamilla & wife Vianney; her grandchildren, Miguel Escamilla, Jr. & wife Annie, Brianna Olita Escamilla, Jonathan Moya, Brandon Ray Escamilla, Emma Rosa Escamilla, and Aubrey Olivia Escamilla; she also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of friends.  Carmela will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.
