Ruben Almarez, 73, was born on July 07, 1948 in Yoakum, Texas and passed away on December 24, 2021 in Houston, TX.  Ruben was preceded in death by his father John R. Almarez, his mother Louisa Almarez, his brother Joe Almarez, and his daughter Mary T. Almarez.  Ruben leaves behind his wife Susie Almarez, and his children Ruben Almarez Jr, Mary K. Alvarado, John R. Almarez, Mary L. Almarez, Debra A. Vega, Sebastian Almarez, Jennifer Orosco, Abel Almarez, Richard Almarez, Christopher Almarez, Jonathan Almarez, Bear Almarez, Alexander R. Almarez, Eric Almarez, in addition to 34 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.    Ruben will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by his beautiful soul.
