Abraham Montana Rios

Abraham Montana Rios, 82, was born on July 1, 1934 in Fentress, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on September 8, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Abraham was a hard working man that was close to God. He used to own Rios Grocery Store in Denver Harbor and taught his family about a good work ethic while working in the family business. He was a huge sports fan and loved spending time with his family.He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Rios; his sons, Stephen Andrew Rios, and Michael Abraham Rios & wife Anita; his daughters, Dora Marie Rios, Diana Jean Gonzalez & husband John, Debra Ann Chansamouth; his brother, George Rios; his sister, Mary Esperanza Gonzalez; and his grandchildren, John Bernard, Andrew, Gabrelle, Crystal, and Michelle; and his great grandchild, Hoon. Abraham will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
