Acencion "Rosie" Rodriguez, 69, was born on August 15, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to Antonio & Ysabel Vasquez and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 22, 2018 in Houston, Texas.  She leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 50 years, Richard M. Rodriguez; her sons, Richard M. Rodriguez II & wife Melissa and Antonio Rodriguez & wife Elisa; her daughter, Rosalinda Robles; her sister, Mary Vasquez; her grandchildren, Sara, Katarina, Erik, Arianna, Richard III, and Leilani; she also leaves behind many other relatives and friends.

Acencion "Rosie" Rodriguez was a beautiful person inside and out. Always with a smile on her face, a loving hug, and a kind word for all that crossed her path. Her endless love for her partner of 50 years, her children, grandchildren, family and friends were with all her heart.

​She was the sweetest, friendliest, and biggest fan of life and the softball field. Her presence at the park were countless where she spent time sharing her love for the sport, spending time with family, and lifetime friends.

​Her presence among us will be truly missed, but her eternal love will burn bright in each of our hearts!

Times:  4:00pm - 8:00pm

Vigil Service:  5:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day.
