Adela Perez Martinez

Adela Perez Martinez, 76, was born on December 4, 1940 in George West, Texas to Manuel Perez and Secundina Cardona and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2017 while surrounded by her loving family in Houston, Texas. Adela was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Joe P. Martinez and Rodolfo “Rudy” P. Martinez; her brother, Enrique Perez; and her sisters, Celia Perez, Sobeida Marez, and Ofelia Paiz. Adela leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of almost 60 years of marriage, Jose Gonzales Martinez; her son, Daniel Martinez; her daughters, Belia P. Martinez and Belinda Reyna & husband Jose; her brothers, David Perez and Elias Perez; her sister, Delia Cantu; 11 grandchildren, Adela, Joe, Amanda, Daniel Jr., Michael, Annette, Joanna, Christopher, Nicole, Erik, and Angel; 15 great grandchildren; also many other relatives and friends. Adela will be dearly missed by all those who shared with her in life.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
