Alberta A. Belmarez, 78, was born on April 8, 1941 in Crystal City, Texas and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 10, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family in Houston, Texas.  Alberta was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and a lifelong member of Resurrection Catholic Church and The Legion of Mary.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Senon and Encarnacion Alvarado; by her husband, Gilberto G. Belmarez; also by her son, Gilberto Belmarez Jr.  Alberta leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her sons, Ismael Belmarez & wife Jackie and Rogelio "Roger" Belmarez & wife Diana; her brothers, Jose Cruz Alvarado, Juan Alvarado, and Gregorio Alvarado; her sister, Cresencia Hernandez; her ten grandchildren, Sylvia, Gabriella, Crystal, Analicia, Amanda, Sara, Deriea, Ana, Francisco, and Greg; her five great grandchildren, Aubrey, Adelinn, Sebastian, Aryana, and Colt; she also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.  Alberta will be dearly missed by all those that were touched by her kind and beautiful soul.
