Alberto A. Alonzo, 67, was born on March 30, 1953 in Mathis, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 29, 2020 in Webster, Texas.  Alberto was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his Father, Felix L. Alonzo; his mother, Elvira Avalos Alonzo; his siblings, Yolanda Garcia and Gilbert Alonzo; his brother in law, Guadalupe "GG" Gomez; his nephew, Matthew Gomez; also by his best friend, Reynaldo Alvarado.  Alberto leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his wife of 44 years of marriage and greatest love, Elena Alonzo; his loving children, Brandie Alonzo Melling & husband Stephen and Albert E. Alonzo & wife Liza; his grandsons, Liam Albert Alonzo and Luke William Alonzo; his sisters, Guadalupe "Lupe" Alonzo Gonzalez & husband Guadalupe, Blanca Alonzo Rodriguez & husband Frank, and Shelly Gomez; his brothers, Felix Alonzo and Samuel Alonzo; his godson, Michael Alonzo; his goddaughter, Nicole Alonzo; he also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and a host of friends.  Alberto will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him and were touched by his beautiful soul.

Public Viewing will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Location: Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

After 7:00pm all funeral services will be private to immediate family members only.
