Alexander "Alex" Roberto Chavez

Alexander "Alex" Roberto Chavez, 23, was born on March 1, 1993 in Houston, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 20, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Alex was a young man full of life, he had a big heart; a very unique and respectful person. Alex always took care of his grandmother; he always had a contagious smile. Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather, Pilar Longoria (January 20, 2010) and his brother, Jose Chavez, Jr.. Alex leaves behind to cherish his memories his father, Jose Roberto Chavez; his mother Lena L. Chavira & husband Ricardo; his grandmother, Amelia Longoria; his life partner, Khamphon Souvannasi; his brothers, Tony Chavira, Carlos Ray Chavira, and Ricky Chavira, Jr.; his sisters, Crystallena Chavez, Sylvia Chavira, and Sandra Chavira; his niece, Melody Blue Garcia; and numerous nieces and nephews; he also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. Alex will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him in life.Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11am The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
