Alfred Garcia Adames

Alfred Garcia Adames, 91, was born on January 9, 1925 in Luling, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on June 5, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Consuelo Adames; his brother, Robert Adames; and his sister, Josie Adames. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Juanita Contreras Adames; his sons, Alfred Adames, Jr., Albert Adames, Gilberto Darias, John Filo, and Eddie Silva; his daughters, Rachel Adames, Julieta Guerra, Luz Flores, and Julisa Filo; his brothers, Jose Adames, Carlos Adames, and Joe Frank Adames; his sisters, Beba Flores and Otilia Santos; 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 fr om 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with full Military Honors
