Alfred Corona, 66, was born on April 27, 1952 in Houston, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 20, 2018 in Houston, Texas.  Alfred proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Navidad & Benita Corona.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories his children, Albert J. Corona & wife Olga, Natalie Hernandez & husband Lawrence, and Alexander Corona; his grandchildren, Melissa Hernandez, Kristen Hernandez, A.J. Corona, Alexandria Corona, Larry Hernandez, Ethan Cangas, and Mina Hernandez; his great grandchildren, Jacob and Luke; his brothers, Natividad Corona, Robert Corona & wife Elva, and Martin Corona & wife Christine; 10 nephews and nieces; also many other relatives and friends.  Alfred will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery with full Military Honors.
