Amanda Lopez

Amanda Lopez, 64, was born on September 9, 1952 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on January 26, 2017 in Houston, Texas. Amanda was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She loved thrift shopping and going to the movies. She enjoyed going out to eat at many different restaurants to spend time with family and friends. Her family always came first and loved to spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Amanda will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Amanda is survived by her mother, Frances Ybarra; her sons, Christopher Carson and Raul Lopez; her daughter, Veronica Armas & husband Antonio; her brothers, David Ybarra and Abraham Ybarra; her sister, Cynthia Ybarra Galvan; her 11 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 2:30 pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.
