Arlene Lynette Alvarez, 9, was born on May 19, 2012 in Houston, Texas and was called up to be rejoicing with angels on February 15. 2022 in Houston, Texas while surrounded by her loving family.  She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, great granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend to anyone that would meet her.   She was a bright 4th grade student at De Zavala Elementary School.  Arlene enjoyed spending time with her family and loved to help her mom with her baby brother; she was such a great mommy taking care of him.  She enjoyed creating nail tutorial videos and spending time with her cousins.  Arlene was the center of attention any where she went.  A true angel.  She leaves behind to cherish and treasure her memories her parents, Armando & Wendy Alvarez; her brothers, Armando Luis Alvarez, Jr. and Adriel Luis Alvarez; her paternal grandparents, Jose & Patricia Alvarez; her maternal grandparents, Jaime & Teresa Aceves; her paternal great grandmothers,, Maria Gonzalez and Gloria Mireya Leal; her God parents, Sergio Gonzalez and Janette Castillo; her aunts and uncles, Abigail Solis & husband Erick, Adriana Alvarez & husband George Martinez, Lisette Montalvo & husband Osiel Uribe, Lydia Montalvo, Selene Castellanos & husband Enrique, Janette Castillo-Gomez & husband Manuel, Gustavo Castellanos & wife Raquel, and Johnny Gonzalez; her cousins, Anthony Solis, Adeline Solis, Paulina Castellanos, Güero Castellanos, Leslie Castellanos, Martiza Castellanos, Cindy Castillo, Adrian Castillo, Andres Castillo, Jesus Castillo, Jr., Alejandra Castellanos, Luis "Bicho" Jesus Castellanos, Ericka Castellanos, Nevaeh Castellanos, and Santiago; she also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.  Arlene will be dearly missed by all those who were touched by her beautiful soul.

She was here for a brief time but left a lifetime of love.
