Armando G. Gonzalez, 81, was born on February 6, 1937 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10, 2019 in Houston, Texas.  Armando is preceded in death by his parents, Filomeno Gonzalez and Paula Gutierrez; and his brothers, Baldemar Gonzalez, Gorgoñio Gonzalez, and Filomeno Gonzalez.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Geronima Chapa Gonzalez; his son, Armando M. Gonzalez; his daughters, Nora Gonzalez Basquez, Diana Gonzalez Russell, and Maira N. Gonzalez; his sisters, Martha Gonzalez Escamilla, Socorro Gonzalez Cisneros, Paula Gonzalez Villarreal, and Bertha Gonzalez Garza; his grandchildren, Elisa Pena Gallo, Federico Pena III, Francisco J. Gonzalez, Joshua E. Basquez, Juan A. Gonzalez Chapa, Armando A. Gonzalez Cisneros, Ida J. Gonzalez, Gael Gallegos, Ashley Villarreal, and Bebe Basquez-Watkins; and his 12 great grandchildren.  Armando will be greatly missed by all who shared wonderful memories with him.
