10/01/1928 - 05/15/2014 Armond Brett, 85, was born on October 1, 1928 in Houston, Texas & was called home to be with his “Lord & Savior” in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he lived most of his life on May 15, 2014 while surrounded by his loving wife Elsie Brett. After graduating from the University of Houston with a Mathematic and Electrical Engineering degree he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Armond worked at Treco Refinery Engineering Company, Nelson Electric and several other engineering companies. Also, Armond worked with the Apollo space center with Nasa in California and Florida for ten years. Besides the fact that his life revolved around his wife, family and friends he had many accomplishments, one being that he designed and built a beautiful 17' outboard cruiser in his garage that slept four. It was launched in September 1958 on Grand Lake. It was a proud accomplishment. He is survived by his loving wife Elsie Brett and his very large family. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 22, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Park Westheimer.
