Artemio G. Villarreal, 77, was born on November 12, 1938 in Altamira, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called home on September 16, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Artemio was a very hard worker, a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother who will be missed by all. Artemio is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carmen R. Villarreal; his son, Larry Villarreal, Sr. & wife Elida; his daughter, Linda Villarreal & husband Erik Hoefer; his sisters; Guadalupe "Lupe" Rios, Emma Cervantes, Carmela Rodriguez, and Olivia Villarreal; his grandchildren, Larry, Jr., Anthony, Laura, Stephanie, Alyssa, and Emily; and his great grandchildren; Amanda, Megan, Daniel, Larry III, Victoria, and Elisabeth.

Visitation will take place on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 1pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
