Arthur M. Gonzales 1938 ~ 2016

Arthur Gonzales of Houston, Texas, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on June 29, 2016 at age of 77. Arthur was born in Houston, Texas on November 20, 1938 to Jacinto and Janie Gonzales. After serving in the U.S. ARMY, he worked at Nabisco Bakery for 38 years. He was an avid Oiler, Texans, and Astros fan. Arthur was very involved in Little League as his kids were growing up, having coached at Denver Harbor Little League.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Olga Gonzales; his sons, Greg of Beaumont and Arthur Gonzales Jr. of Houston, daughters, Ronnie Fair (Denis) of Corpus Christi, Betty Gonzales (Kim) of Cedar Park; 5 sisters and one brother all of Houston; 4 grandchildren, 1 deceased; and 6 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 1, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel and a Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 10am with Deacon Roy Breaux officiating. Committal Service will follow in Forest Park East Cemetery with full Military Honors.
