Arturo Aviña, 58, was born December 23, 1963 in Brownsville, Texas and was called up to be with his Lord & Savior on August 18, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Arturo was a very generous man that would give the shirt off his back to whoever was in need. He was an avid Texans fan, he enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a true craftsman in his trade, very smart, spontaneous, and loving. Arturo loved to BBQ and joke around. He was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend. Arturo is preceded in death by his father, Jorge T. Avina; and his sister, Leticia Cuestas. He leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his mother, Cleotilde Aviña; his loving wife of 23 years of marriage, Hortencia R. Aviña; his brother, Jorge Aviña; his sisters, Mary Walters, Delia Zaied; 4 nieces and 7 nephews, whom he loved dearly; He is survived by many other relatives and a host of good friends.
Cremation will take place on a later day.
