Avelino V. Castillo 1926 - 2016

Avelino V. Castillo, 90, was born on March 24, 1926 in Santa Monica, Coahuila, Mexico to Federico Castillo Duran and Enemecia Valdez and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 18, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Avelino was a man of Christ, and Evangelist and a strong man. Avelino is survived by his wife of 31 years, Maria Cruz de Castillo; his sons Jose Angel Castillo, Israel Castillo, Gerardo Castillo, and Tito Castillo; his daughters, Elsa Vasquez, Rosa Alba, Debbie Sotello, and Sarita Gonzalez; 33 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 6pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service at 7pm at Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus and a Funeral Service on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 11am with Pastor Jose Bautista officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
