Benito G. Rodriguez, 64, was born on November 14, 1951 in Wharton, Texas and entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Benito was a loving father, son, and husband; he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era; he then worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier where he retired from. Benito is survived by his mother Amelia Rodriguez, his wife, Lydia Zermeno Rodriguez; his sons; Joseph Rodriguez, Sr. & wife Erica and Nicholas Rodriguez and wife Teresa, his daughters; Elizabeth Gomez & husband Roland and Victoria Rodriguez & husband Jose; his stepdaughters, Michelle, Angela, and Erika; his brothers, Abelardo, Luciano, Emilio, and Salvador; his sisters, Deborah, Julie, and Sandra; his grandchildren, Julian, Serenity, Nicholas, Jr., Isaiah, Alizay, Mya, Celeste, Joseph, Jr., Cristian, Isaac, and Jacob; his great grandchild, Jacob, Jr.; 9 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; he is also survived by many relatives and friends. Benito will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm with an Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11:30am with Deacon David Valdez officiating at St.Christopher Catholic Church (8150 Park Place Blvd., Houston, TX 77017) Committal Service will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
