Benjamin Ruiz, 90, was born March 31, 1925 in Manly, Iowa and was called home to his "Lord and Savior" on May 6, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Wife, Florestela Ruiz. He is survived by his Sons, David Ruiz & wife Belia, James Ruiz & wife Sharon; Daughter, Anna Marie Compean; Brothers, Florentino, Lauro, Francisco, Hector, George; Sisters, Mercedes, Margarita; Grandchildren, Michael, David Jr., Daniel, Lauren, Jeffrey.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm in The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at 12pm in The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
