Bernardina Williams was born on May 20, 1952 in Guadalupe, Zacatecas, Mexico. She was the daughter of Ramon Del Rio and María de Jesús Castañeda. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring sister, supportive daughter, loyal friend, and charitable wife. Her many years at Tommy Toys and Kroger Bakery were not only a way to provide income for her family but served as a source of life-long friendships. Known as Nina to those who were closest to her, she had an outgoing, caring demeanor coupled with a fiery resilience that gave way to her unconditional love and compassion for others around her. She was best known for her appreciation of the simple things in life and the sharing of stories from her childhood. She cherished most, her time with family especially her three granddaughters whom she loved with all her heart. She would go the extra mile to help her family during the most enduring of times and her generosity knew no bounds when it came to providing for others. She enjoyed completing 400-piece puzzles and drinking her coffee and donuts in the morning. She was a devoted woman of Christ and attended church every Sunday, serving as an encouragement for her granddaughters and others around her to do the same. Bernardina is survived by her daughters, Elva Williams and Maria Jane McGill, her husband, Michael McGill and granddaughters, Alyssa, Sydney, and Lilia McGill; her husband, Bobby, her brothers, Beno, Jose, Martin, Beto, Lencho, Juan and her sisters, Eva, Socorro, Christina, and Teresa. She is predeceased by her brother, Carlos.
