Blas Estrada, 70, was born on May 29, 1946 in San Juan, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 25, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Blas was preceded in death by his father, Conrado Estrada and his mother, Maria Esther Perez. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of almost 51 years of marriage, Maria Antonietta Estrada; his sons, Blas Estrada, Jr. & wife Nancy, Albert Estrada, and Hiram Estrada; his daughters, Yadira Estrada and Celeste Ochoa & husband Israel; his grandchildren, Christopher, Esmeralda, Blas III, Mia, Madison, Anthony, Sebastian, Nadya, Adam, Israel Jr, Joseph, Yadira, Chantal, and Angel; his great grandchild, Brea; and many relatives and friends. Blas will be dearly missed by all those who shared with him.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Cremation will take place on a later day.
