Candy Renee Barrera, 39, was born on October 8, 1975 in Houston, Texas to Roberto Barrera and Sylvia Castillo and was called home to be with her "Lord and Savior" on May 4, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by her beloved Mother, Sylvia Castillo. Candy is survived by her Husband of 8 years, Ray DeLeon; Sons, Edwin Angel Castillo Medrano and Jacob Barrera; Daughter, Ashley Hernandez; and her Sister, Roxanne Barrera.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from 1pm to 7pm with a Mass being celebrated at 5pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Cremation will take place on a later day.
