Carlos Cruz Zaragoza

11/04/1940 - 04/08/2014     Carlos Cruz Zaragoza, 73, was born Nov. 4, 1940 in Magnolia, TX. & was called home to be with his "Lord & Savior" on April 8, 2014. Mr. Zaragoza was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam Era. He is preceded in death by his Son, Michael Zaragoza. Survivors include: Wife of 45 years, Ciria G. Zaragoza; Daughter, Rosalinda Alaniz & her husband Luis; Sons, Steve & Anthony Zaragoza & his wife Ellie; Brothers, Luis, Vidal & Mario; Sister, Felipa & Grandchildren, Monica, Luis Jr., Michelle, Jessica, Angel, Rebecca, Mark & Jacob. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Henry Walker officiating. Rite of Committal, will follow in the Houston National Cemetery where Mr. Zaragoza will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors.
