Carmen Campos Islas, 47, was born on October 1, 1967 in Houston, Texas and was called home to be with her "Lord and Savior" on August 7, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Carmen is preceded in death by her Father, Isidro Campos. Survivors include her Mother, Carmen Gomez; Husband, Arturo Islas; Daughters, Victoria Hernandez, Veronica Islas, and Elizabeth Islas; Brothers, Anthony Campos, Isidro Campos, Jr., Oscar Campos, Gregory Campos, and Gilbert Rodriguez; Sisters, Maria Campos and Margaret Ann Rodriguez; also by numerous Nieces and Nephews. Carmen always loved unconditionally with a forgiving heart. "There is no one like her".

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 5pm to 9pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 11am at Forest Oaks Baptist Church (1845 Forest Oaks Dr., Houston, Texas, 77017). Interment will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
