Catalina Rangel, 79, was born on September 30, 1945, in Queretaro, Mexico, and peacefully passed away on March 1, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Catalina was a devoted and loving mother, whose warmth and care touched all who knew her. She had a passion for life, enjoying daily walks, nurturing her beautiful garden, and cooking for her beloved children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. Whether attending concerts, watching movies, or simply sharing moments of laughter and love, Catalina treasured every moment spent with them.
Her favorite plant was the Crown of Thorns, a symbol of her love for beauty in all forms, and a reflection of the strength and resilience she carried throughout her life. Catalina also loved to travel, adored music, and embraced life to its fullest, always bringing a sense of joy and light to every occasion.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Raymundo Rangel. She leaves behind a legacy of love, remembered by her sons, Raymundo Rangel, Ramiro Rangel, and Roberto Rangel; her daughters, Irma Rangel, Laura Rangel, and Martha Rangel; her brother, Jose Galvan; her grandchildren, Guillermo, Krystal, Diana, Cristian, Alex, Daniella, and Fabiana; and her great-grandchild, Elijah.
