Catarino M. Garza, 88, was born on January 12, 1931 in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 10, 2019 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Garza; hi mother, Isabel Montemayor; his sisters, Astroberta Rodriguez, Maria Vela, and Belia Villarreal; also by his granddaughter, Maria del Carmen Rodriguez.  Catarino leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 41 years of marriage, Irma Mata Garza; his daughters, Ludivina Rodriguez, Belia Arredondo, Catalina Garza, Maria de Jesus Martinez, and Maribel Torres; his sons, Andres Garza, Tomas Garza, and Gerardo Garza; his brothers, Juventino Garza, Horacio Garza, Jose Maria "Chema" Garza, Ignacio "Nacho" Garza, Alberto Garza, Manuel Garza, and Juan Garza; 22 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; he also leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.  Catarino will be dearly missed by all those who shared wonderful memories with him.

Times:  5:00pm - 9:00pm

Prayer Service:  7:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later day.
