Celia Camacho

Celia Camacho was born on November 30, 1957 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to her parents, Asencion Jose Martinez & Maria Concepcion Ruiz. Celia passed away peacefully and was called home with her Lord & Savior on the morning of June 2, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by her loving family. Celia was diagnosed with lung cancer one year ago but she never gave up her fight. She never once complained; Celia maintained her optimism, bravery, and her cheerful outlook on life for a better future. Celia is preceded in death by her mother and her sister, Raquel Rodriguez. Celia is survived by her caring husband of 30 years, Andres Camacho; her son, Andrew Camacho; her daughters, Denise Morales & husband Jonathon, & Mayra Camacho; her brothers, Antonio Martinez, Jose Luis Martinez, Martin Martinez, & Sergio Martinez; her sisters, Ramona Lopez, Teresa Martinez, Carmen Martinez, & Mercedes Martinez; and her grandchildren, Robert Rodriguez, III., Natalie Rose Morales, & Nicole Leanne Morales. Celia was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and a passionate figure of strength who loved all of her family and friends. It is without doubt that Celia will be missed beyond measure by everyone she touched.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 10am at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
