Clara Herrera Becerra

Clara Herrera Becerra, 71, was born on May 31, 1953, in Houston, Texas, and entered eternal rest on November 29, 2024, in her hometown. Clara was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother who brought joy to everyone around her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaias Herrera and Dominga Romero; her great-grandson, Alfredo Rudy Flores; her sister, Fidela Melear, and her brothers, Isaias Herrera Jr. and David Herrera. Clara leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Rudolph Brigido Becerra; her son, Jeffrey Rudolph Becerra, and his partner AJ; her daughters, Tricia Yvonne Lopez and husband Joe Angel, and Sabrina Becerra-Payan and husband David; her brothers, Luciano Naranjo, Jesse Herrera, and Ernie Herrera; and her sister, Roberta Kostelnik.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Amber Becerra, Lauren Mullins, Angel Lopez, Joe Lopez Jr., Analysa Becerra, Briana Becerra, Andrew Becerra, and Anthony Becerra, as well as her great-grandchildren: Jason Sahgun, Jackson Tello, Asher Mullins, Bethany Becerra, and Sophia Flores. 

Clara’s love and memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
