Concepcion C. Vasquez

Concepcion C. Vasquez, 78, was born on December 2, 1937 in Brownsville, Texas and was called up to be with her Lord and Savior on April 4, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Concepcion was a loving mother and grandmother. Her whole life was her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and tend to all her plants. She was always very giving and will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Alfredo Vasquez, Jr.; and her daughters, Anna Belinda Vasquez and Alma Rosa Vela. She is survived by her son, Albert Capistran, Jr.; her daughters, Janie Cano and Patricia Meza & husband Roy; her brother, PeteCapistran; her sister, Mela Escamilla; her grandchildren, Yvonne, Peter, Roy, Jr., Danielle, Ricky, Lauren, Jason, Albert, and Adrian; and her great grandchildren, Angelina, Christian, Isabella, Roy, III,Jacob, Evan, Roxanne, and Daliah.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016 from 5 pm - 9 pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. A Fun eral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church (6622 Haskell St., Houston, Texas 77007). Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
