Connie Marcela Rodriguez

1930 - 2017

Connie Marcela Rodriguez was the world's greatest wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. Connie was a woman of devotion to her faith, family, and everyone she loved. She was an active parishioner at both St. Christopher Catholic Church and St. Augustine Catholic Church. Connie was born on July 17, 1930 in Bebe, Texas to her loving parents, Raymundo Rivera & Remigia Lopez. Connie was called Home with her Lord and Savior on the morning of October 13, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by loving family. Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Salvador E. Rodriguez, who passed away in 1986. She is survived by her son, Edward G. Rodriguez & wife Brenda; her daughters, Henrietta Marie Rodriguez, Lisa A. Gonzales, and Geri Perez & husband Art; her grandchildren, Sarah, Amber, Christina, Tiffany, Victoria, Matthew, and Isaac, her great-grandchildren, Liliana and Elijah; and numerous nieces & nephews. Connie will be missed by all of her family and friends whom she dearly loved.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Rosary being recited at 7:00pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10am at The St. Christopher Catholic Church (8150 Park Place Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77017)

Interment will follow in South Park Cemetery.
