Danny "D Town" Moreno, 48, was born on May 22, 1967 and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 13, 2016 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family.
Danny "D Town" Moreno wasn't only a Family man, he was a Pioneer in "Down South Latin Rap". Not only did he provide us with multiple street classics, but he was one of the few that could have ALL sides of the City and ALL colors of Gangs under one roof at any given time in the pursuit of 1 common goal, money. Danny helped pave the way for a lot of the artists you listen to NOW a days... D Single Handedly helped out numerous mainstream artist aside from the music as well from Baby Bash and Lil Troy to Fat Joe and 8 Ball MJG; not to mention the tons of underground artist he put on... The Shut'Em Down Records movement made an impact on the music industry that's gonna be hard to touch... "D" was a True Texas Legend for the way he conducted himself from the Streets to Corporate America... He had a way with people and touched more hearts than imaginable. "D" will be dearly missed by all those who loved him.
