Dario Herrera, 80, was born on December 9, 1940 in Laredo, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 1, 2021 in Sugar Land, Texas.  Dario was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo & Catalina Herrera; also by his siblings, Mario Herrera and Esther Herrera.  Dario leaves behind to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 47 years of marriage, Maria Herrera; his children, Sandra Herrera, Ricardo Herrera, Dario Herrera, Jr., Melissa Herrera, Claudia Herrera, and Amanda Herrera; his grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony, Emily, Rebekah, Madeline, Kaitlyn, Ricky, Cathy, Sierra, Danielle, Ashlyn, Xavier, Jorge, Janai, Gabriela, Dalilah, Alazae, Arion, Arthur, and Ava; his great grandchildren, Kimberly, Kaylin, Tommy, Gianna, Christopher, John, Rose, Benjamin, Devin, and Penelope; his brother, Reyes Herrera; his sisters, Dolores Herrera, Teresa Herrera, Rosario Herrera, and Elsa Herrera; he also leaves behind many other relatives and numerous friends.

Times:  4:00pm - 9:00pm

Rosary:  7:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Family chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
