1954 ~ 2020

David Gaona, 66, was born on June 6, 1954 in Galveston, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on September 2, 2020 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Josue & Margarita Gaona; also by his brother, Jesse Gaona.  David leaves to cherish and treasure his memories his loving wife of 43 years of marriage, Clara Marie Gaona; his children, Zachary Phillip Gaona & wife Brenda Perez-Gaona, David Tomas Gaona & wife Ninoska Gaona, Mark Anthony Watson & wife Cinthya Watson, and Brandi Nicole Butler Mosqueda; his siblings, Joe Frank "Paco" Gaona, Israel Gaona, Alicia Quintero, Joe "Pache" Gaona, Manuel Gaona, Robert "Bobby" Gaona, Delores Villarreal, Ana Rees, Amelia Gelinas, Alfred "Tommy" Gaona, Robert Rodriguez, Rosa Carrasco, Diana Gaona, Yolanda Alvarez, and Joey Gaona; his grandchildren, Natalie Ariel Graciano, Heaven Leigh Vargas, Ziara Clara Gaona Zuleigh Berniece Gaona, Dacey Itzel Gaona, Gia Esperanza Gaona, Mateo David Gaona, Madilyn Christine Knoebel, Andrew Micheal Knoebel, Logan Kyle Carlon, Julia-Shai Antoinette Garza, Mark Anthony Watson Jr., Elizabeth Grace Watson, Fabian Butler, and Jeremiah Mosqueda; he also leaves behind many other relatives and a host of friends.  David will be dearly missed by all those who shared and had wonderful times with him.

Times:  3:00pm - 7:00pm

Celebration of Life Service:  6:00pm

Location:  Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel

Cremation will take place on a later date.
