Brave Dave, of Corpus Christi, TX. passed away on November 8, 2013. He leaves all his memorable moments to his sons, Don Alexander Ortiz, David A. Ortiz; daughter, Christina Eloisa Roy; brothers, Conrad, Guadalupe, & Danny Ortiz & Joe & Dr. Ricardo Carlon; sisters, Consuelo Cuellar, Carolina Wheeler & Sandra C. Robledo; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren as well as extended family and many many friends.

A visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4pm-9pm with a Celebration of Life service at 7pm in the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compean Funeral Home towards his funeral expenses.

I gave you my love, you can only guess How much you gave me in happiness I thank you for the love each have shown But now it is time I travelled on alone

So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust It is only for a while that we must part So bless the memories in your heart

I will not be far away, for life goes on So if you need me, call and I will come Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near And if you listen with your heart, you will hear All of my love around you soft and clear
