David F. "Diamond Dave" Dominguez

David F. “Diamond Dave” Dominguez, 54, was born on May 2, 1962 in East Bernard, Texas and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on April 5, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. David was preceded in death by his Father, Domingo R. “Wimpy” Dominguez, Sr.; Brother, Domingo F. “Bebe” Dominguez, Jr.; and Sister, Sandra Dominguez Benton. Diamond Dave leaves behind to cherish his memories his Loving Mother, Connie F. Dominguez; Son, David Anthony Dominguez, Jr.; Brother, John "Hondo” Dominguez; Sister, Sonia Dominguez Castillo & husband Rudy; 2 Granddaughters, Amber Lynn Dominguez and Aubrey Rose Dominguez; and numerous Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Diamond Dave would always say that every day was Christmas and every night was New Years Eve. David graduated class of 1980 from Lamar Consolidated High School. He was a concrete truck driver for 35 years. He was always respectful to all of his uncles and aunts and always made it a point to keep in touch with his family; David's pride and joy was his son and his 2 granddaughters. You would “never” find Diamond Dave in a sad or bad mood, he was always the life of the party, was the first one to get up and sing karaoke; loved fishing, BBQing, telling jokes, and umpiring little league games. Most of all he was one of the most loving and kind human being that you could have ever met in your whole life. It will never be possible for anyone to fill his shoes because “THE THING IS, DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER”.

Viewing for Diamond Dave will be at 10am with a Rosary to be recited at 11am and a Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11:30am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Lee officiating.
