 David M. Zamora, 75, was born on January 21, 1950, in Donna, TX, and peacefully entered eternal rest on March 10, 2025, in Houston, TX. David was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Known for his unwavering determination, straightforwardness, sharp wit, and dry humor, he was a man who lived life with a no-nonsense attitude and a hardworking spirit. His loyalty to his family was unmatched, and he was often described by those who knew him as the epitome of a "Zamora."

Though quick to anger, David’s temper was always fleeting, and he was the first to move past any disagreement. His love for music, particularly The Beatles, CCR, and Jimi Hendrix, defined many of his most cherished moments. A true jack-of-all-trades, he was never a stranger to anyone and had a knack for telling it like it was, regardless of the situation.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Jose V. Zamora and Juanita Moreno Zamora; his brothers, Daniel Zamora and Efrain Zamora; his sister, Norma Zamora; and his grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife, Cleotilde Perez Zamora; his sons, David I. Zamora, Daniel Zamora, and Steven Zamora; his daughters, Sheila Sanchez and Juanita Zamora; his brothers, Jose Zamora, Carlos Zamora, Israel Zamora, and Javier Zamora; his sister, Irma Zamora Hayes; as well as his grandchildren, Aaron, Christian, Nikkie, Zyra, and Alexander, along with a host of dear friends.

David’s legacy will live on through the cherished memories he created with those who had the privilege of knowing him. His presence will be deeply missed by all.
