Delfina fue una esposa, madre, abuela y hermana muy amada y apreciada por muchos. Era una mujer muy cariñosa con un corazon muy grande y disfrutaba cocinar y preparar deliciosos bocadillos para su familia. Le encantaba explorar nuevos lugares a través de cruceros, a menudo bailando con su esposo y creando recuerdos felices. Era una persona de gran fe y oracion. En su tiempo libre, disfrutaba jugar juegos como el solitario, el sudoku y la lotería. Delfina tenía un don extraordinario para ver lo bueno en cada persona, lo que reflejaba su espíritu compasivo y positivo.

Le sobreviven su esposo de 51 años, Jose Alvarez; su hijo, Edgar R. Alvarez, y su esposa, Carol; su hija, Adriana Nunez, y su esposo, Esteban; sus nietos, Ian, Abigail y Ariana; sus hermanas, Sylvia, Ludivina, María de los Angeles y Blanca Maria. Delfina será profundamente extrañada por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de compartir hermosos recuerdos con ella.

Delfina Estela Alvarez, 71, was born on August 10, 1952 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on August 8, 2024 in Houston, Texas. Delfina was a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was adored by many. She was a warm-hearted and nurturing woman who found joy in cooking for her family and baking delicious treats. She loved exploring new places through cruises, often dancing with her husband and making cherished memories. Her faith was guided through prayer and provided her with strength and purpose. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing games like solitaire, sudoku, and loteria. Delfina had a remarkable gift for seeing the good in everyone, reflecting her compassionate and positive spirit.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jose Alvarez; her son, Edgar R. Alvarez & wife Carol; her daughter, Adriana Nunez & husband Esteban; her grandchildren, Ian, Abigail, and Ariana; her sisters, Sylvia, Ludivina, Maria de los Angeles, and Blanca Maria. Delfina will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of sharing wonderful memories with her.
