Diana Maldonado

Diana Maldonado, 83, was born on July 30, 1940 in Agualeguas, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2024 in Houston, Texas. Diana was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Diana was a beloved figure in her community, known for her passion for cooking and dedication as a teacher in Mexico. Beyond her culinary skills, Diana was actively involved in various community initiatives, eagerly lending a helping hand wherever needed. A devout churchgoer, she cherished her Sunday gatherings. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression of kindness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro Rodriguez & Paula Garza; her siblings; and her husband, Abiel Ayala Maldonado. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her sons, Abiel Maldonado and Abelardo Maldonado & wife Mayra; her daughters Diana Barrera & husband Michael, Maribel Salinas & husband Hector, and Melva Barrientos & husband Michael; She also leaves behind 21 grandchildren and a host of family and good friends. Diana will be truly missed by all those who were able to share wonderful memories with her.
