Dieanne Benitez Lathrop, 77, was born August 12, 1944 and raised in Houston, Texas.  She entered into eternal rest Wednesday, November 17, 2021 peacefully surrounded by loved ones.  Dieanne is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel Benitez Junior and Eva Santos Melchor, her siblings, Rudolph and Charles, and Georgeanna Benitez, her husband, Winston Lathrop and her great-grandson, Thomas Benjamin Floyd.  She leaves behind brothers, Manuel Benitez III, Richard Benitez and sister Josephine Fohl, her children, Stephanie Bennett, Valerie Roberts, Michael Griffith, Charmaine Lathrop and Danille LaLonde, her grandchildren, Nia Griffith, Scotty Bennett, Maggie Griffith, Katrina Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Crystina Lathrop-Lewis, Alexis Floyd, Bianca Lathrop, Sophia LaLonde and Samantha LaLonde, great grand-children, Leonna Smith, Feye Smith, Josiah Smith, Zelda Archer, James Floyd, and Carys Floyd; she is also survived by many other relatives.  She is at peace now up in heaven with all her loved ones.
