In Loving Memory of Diego Rodriguez.
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Diego Rodriguez, who left this world too soon at the age of 38. Diego was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, known for his charisma, passion for life, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
From a young age, Diego was an avid athlete, excelling in sports throughout his childhood and teenage years. He attended St. Christopher Catholic School from Pre-K through 8th grade before graduating from Mount Carmel Catholic High School. His drive and determination led him to pursue higher education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he built lifelong friendships and a strong foundation for his future. Diego then followed his passion for law, earning his degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego.
Diego was larger than life, known for his infectious energy, quick wit, and the ability to light up any room he entered. He embraced every moment with a great karaoke song, enthusiasm, adventure, and a deep appreciation for the people around him. His presence was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maria Candelaria Veronica Cavazos-Rodriguez, his maternal grandfather, Rosendo Cavazos, and his paternal grandparents, Raymundo and Guadalupe Rodriguez. As well as his maternal aunt, Minerva Cavazos Martinez.
He is survived by his father, Victor Ramon Rodriguez Sr. and his wife Veronica, his big brother, Victor Ramon Rodriguez Jr., and wife Monica, along with his cherished nephews Victor Ramon III, Joaquin Samuel and niece Janie Marie. He also leaves behind his younger sister, Paloma, and her husband, John. Along with his maternal grandmother, Otilia Benavides-Cavazos and a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.
A celebration of Diego’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 4pm to 9pm with a rosary being recited at 7pm at Compean Funeral Home, where we will gather to honor the remarkable person he was.
His Funeral Service will be on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 1pm at Compean Funeral Home with a procession heading to Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
There will be lunch served after the burial at Faith Springs Baptist Church 2551 O'Day Rd, Pearland,TX 77581
Though his time with us was far too short, Diego left an indelible mark on all who knew him. His laughter, kindness, and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten.
Rest in peace, Diego. Your legacy of love and adventure will never be forgotten.
