Edward Deleza Castaneda, 82, born November 19, 1935 in Rosebud, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2018 in Pasadena, Texas. Edward was retired from the U.S. Air Force and went on to embark on a second career with Shell Oil. He will be remembered for his love of spending time with friends, and most of all, his family.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents, Eulalio and Victoria Castaneda; sister, Ophelia Sandoval and brother, Daniel Castaneda and the mother of his children, Eloise Castaneda. He is survived by sons, Edward Castaneda & wife Laura; Richard Castaneda & Theresa May; daughters, Wilma Castaneda, Velma Perry & husband Neal, Vicki Sicinski & husband Chet. He is also survived by his brother Lee Castaneda & wife Juana; sisters, Angelina Ramos and husband Pete; Janie Yanez & husband Ausencio. Grandchildren, Terry Shaffer & wife Rachael, Nicholas Sicinski, Kimberly Higley & husband Bill, Justin Sicinski, Steven Conley & wife Jamie; great-grandchildren, Christian, Ethan, Alexandra, Adain, Zachary, Xander and Zayden. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his constant loyal fur companion, Geisha Girl.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 2 pm to 6 pm with a Rosary recital at 5 pm at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Committal Services will take place at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
