Eleazar Espinoza Jr. passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at noon from complications due to COVID 19.

He was born on November 24, 1975 in Houston, Texas. He attended Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Deady Middle School, and Milby High School. Eleazar aka Fred was self-employed.  His true passion was cooking, and his specialty was BBQ. He enjoyed family and friends visiting so long as they arrived hungry and brought his drink of choice, Budweiser. He was rough around the edges, always sounded like he was yelling, could charm the paints off anyone, and had a heart of gold.

He is survived by his wife (love of his life) Azenet, parents Eleazar and Maria, sister Anna, cousin/brother Jorge, children Jade, Jazmin, Eleazar, Julian, Edward, Annelise, Sebastian, and Isabella, grandchildren Sophia and Leilani, & nephew Christian.

Viewing services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM followed by a Vigil from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Compean Funeral Home 2102 Broadway St., Houston, Texas 77012. Facial mask is required, and temperature checks will be conducted upon entry.  The family asked all guest to practice social distancing and to refrain from hugs/handshakes.
