Elibildo G. Garza, 82, was born on April 20, 1934 in Guardado de Abajo, Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Benito and Florinda Garza and was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on January 18, 2017 at his residence in Houston, Texas while surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Carmen Delia Rodriguez. Elibildo leaves behind to cherish his memories his loving wife of 64 years, Consuelo Garza; his sons, Tony Garza & wife Albina Arizmendez, Eli Garza, Jr. & wife Pam, Roland Garza, and Jesus Garza & wife Cecilia; his daughters, Diana Garza & Paula Davalos and Blanca Garza; his brothers, Leonel Garza, Efrain Garza, and Lupe Garza; his sisters, Ermila Contreras and Nena Galvan; his 8 grandchildren, Melissa Cruz, Christina Nicole Nunez, Amy Carey, Eli Garza III, Bennie Garza, Anthony Garza, Angel Jesus Garza, and Isaiah Emmanuel Garza; his 6 great grandchildren, Esteban, Abigail, Ciara, Nikko, Eli IV, and Azaley; he also leaves behind numerous relatives and friends. Elibildo will be dearly missed by all those who love him and shared with him in life.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 23, 2017 at 10am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
