Elida R. Cervantes

Elida Ramirez Cervantes was born on September 11, 1938 to her parents, Francisco Ramirez & Socorro Juarez in Houston, Texas. Elida passed away on the morning of June 28, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by her loving family. Elida is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 55 years, Mike Cervantes. Elida is survived by her sons, Timothy Cervantes & wife Dina, Aaron Cervantes & wife Beth, & Mike Cervantes, Jr. & wife Gabriela; her daughters, Socorro Martinez & husband Paul, Elizabeth Vela & husband Daniel, Delia Cervantes & husband Abel Nuncio, Naomi Olmeda & husband Edward, Ruth De Luna & husband Rolando, & Lydia Juarez & husband Jesse; her sisters, Amelia Pena, & Naomi Gonzalez; her grandchildren, AJ, Jonathan, Adam, Michael, Daniel, Steven, Jessica, Abel Jr., Ariel, Silver, Emerald, Mia, Marcus, Joshua, Riana, Rebecca, Hector, Timothy Jr., Marco, & Gabriela; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, & Jayden. Elida will be dearly missed by all of those who shared with her in life.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Prayer Service being held at 7pm at the Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 1pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel.Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
