Eliza "Licha" Garcia Rosas

Eliza "Licha" G. Rosas, was born october 8, 1928 and passed away September 17, 2022. She was 1 of 10 children from Leandro & Eduarda Rosas. She had one daughter, Lisa Marie Vargas, and two granddaughters, Malorie Celene Vargas, and Samantha Olivia Vargas. She also was a great grandmother of 4.

Eliza is survived by her daughter Lisa Marie Vargas, her oldest granddaughter Malorie Celene Vargas & her husband Johnny Guadarrama, her youngest granddaughter, Samantha Olivia Vargas and her partner Cinthia Cortrez. Along with her 4 great-grandchildren, Rudy John Guadarrama, Lane Houston Guadarrama, Santana Rene Vargas-Cortez, and Maxine Rey Guadarrama. Also by her siblings, David Rosas Sr., Maria Elena Rosas, Martin Rosas Sr., and Mary Helen Rosas.

Eliza was very involved in the church, from teaching Sunday School, to putting on Christmas pageants. She worked as a seamstress and loved making her own clothes, and some for her siblings. She also worked at Houston's historic Rice Hotel as a waitress. But everyone knew her not just for her love of God, but for her Ford Mustang. She will be missed dearly by all those who shared wonderful memories with her.
