Elvira Ramos Cruz, 85, was born on June 9, 1930 to Crecencio and Sofia Ramos in Houston, Texas, and was called home to be with her "Lord and Savior" on October 21, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Elvira is preceded in death by her Parents and her Husband, Gregorio Cruz (1996). She is survived by her Son, Gregory Cruz & wife Angie; Daughters, Soila Gutierrez & husband Roger, Sarah Garcia & husband Reynaldo, Sally Martinez, Teresa Trevino & husband Reymundo, and Gloria Balderas & husband Manuel; Sisters, Gloria Sotelo and Lucia Leal; 22 Grandchildren and Numerous Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 from 4pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Main Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Wedensday, October 28, 2015 at 12pm at St. Patrick Catholic Church (4918 Cochran St., Houston, Texas 77009). Rite of Committal will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
