Elvira Ramirez Fernandez, 78, was born on December 16, 1938 in Ciudad de Mexico, Tamaulipas, Mexico to her parents, Chavelo Ramirez & Cenovia Barrera Gutierrez. Elvira was called to be with her Lord and Savior on March 2, 2017 in Houston, Texas while being surrounded by her loving family. Elvira will be missed by all of those who shared life with her.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel.Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 10am at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (7250 Harrisburg Boulevard.)Rite of Committal will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
