Elvira Gonzalez Sosa, 69, was born on December 2, 1947 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 20, 2017 in Pasadena, Texas. Elvira leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving husband of 47 years marriage, Jose Angel Sosa, Sr.; her mother, Guadalupe Gonzalez; her sons, David Sosa & wife Priscilla, Jorge Sosa & wife Angela, Joe Sosa, Jr., and Adam sosa' her daughters, Josie Alberti and Mary Nino; her sisters, Virginia Gonzalez and Laura Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Melissa, Anthony, Joshua, Xavier, Haily, Aracely, Aliya, Willy, Joe III, Jazmin, Anna, Theresa, George, Timothy Jr., Adam Jr., and Frankie; also many other relatives and friends. Elvira will be dearly missed by all those who shared with her in life.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm with a Rosary being recited at 7pm at The Compean Funeral Home Family Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 27, 2017 at 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2405 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003). Rite of Committal will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
