Ernest Silvestre Ortiz

It is with great sadness that we announced the passing of Ernest Sylvestre Ortiz, who departed this life on March 29, 2025 at the age of 55. Born on December 7, 1969 in Houston, Texas to Adam Pena Ortiz (†) and Ofelia Sylvestre Ortiz.

Ernest lived a life defined by courage, strength, and perseverance His positivity and resilience in the face of adversity and his determination was an inspiration to everyone that he met. Ernest spent his career as an automotive paint and body specialist and thoroughly enjoyed working on repairing vehicles with great pride. Ernest had a quick-witted sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh at his jokes and pranks. We will cherish the memories of his laughter and light hearted spirit and generous heart and feel blessed to have shared our lives with him.

Ernest was preceded in death by his father Adam Pena Ortiz.

Ernest is survived by his adult son, Ernest Erin Perez Ortiz and adult daughter Zoe Danielle Perez Ortiz with his former wife Dellania

Ernest is survived by his children, Ofelia, Nicole, Phillip, Moises, Gabriel, Victoria with his significant other Elizabeth. He is survived by his loving mother Ofelia Sylvestre Ortiz, his siblings, Adam Jr., Edmundo (Veronica) Gonzales, Nora, Robert, Frank (Griselda), Edward (Maria)

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends
